Hunter is a tiny farming community in eastern Arkansas, about 85 miles from Little Rock via I-40 and Highway 17. The town sits in prime Delta agricultural country, surrounded by rice fields and cotton farms. Most visitors arrive via Highway 17, which connects north to Searcy and south to Augusta. The area's flat terrain and rich soil make it classic Arkansas Delta farming country, where rice production still dominates the local economy.
