Humphreys is a tiny farming town of 137 people in north-central Missouri's Sullivan County. Located on US Highway 36, it's about 45 miles east of St. Joseph and 75 miles from Kansas City via I-35 north to Cameron. Most visitors are passing through on US 36 or heading to nearby agricultural areas. The town sits near the Middle Fabius River in Missouri's prairie region.
