Hubbard is a small farming town about 30 miles south of Portland, accessible via I-5 Exit 278 and Highway 99E. The city sits in Oregon's Willamette Valley between the Pudding River and Coast Range foothills. Most traffic uses Highway 99E, which runs north-south through town connecting Salem and Portland. The town features one of Oregon's few remaining vehicle-accessible covered bridges, built in 1895 and still carrying traffic over the Pudding River.
