Horicon sits along Highway 151 in south-central Wisconsin, about an hour from both Milwaukee and Madison. The town serves as the gateway to Horicon Marsh, one of America's largest freshwater marshes and a major stop on the Mississippi Flyway. Most visitors take Highway 151 from the Twin Cities or Highway 33 from Beaver Dam to reach the area. The historic 1899 Horicon Bank building, built with distinctive Cream City brick, still anchors downtown.
