Hopkins is a small farming community in southwestern Michigan, about halfway between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo along Highway 222. Most visitors arrive via I-94, taking Exit 85 and following county roads south. The town of 773 residents sits among rolling farmland typical of Allegan County. Its restored 1900s railroad depot now serves as a community center and still has the original ticket windows.
