Hooper is a farming town of about 1,000 people in eastern Nebraska, 30 miles northwest of Omaha via Highway 275. Most visitors come from the Omaha area on a 45-minute drive, while locals make short trips to Fremont on Highway 91. The town sits in corn and soybean country with a continental climate. The water tower features a distinctive eagle design visible from the highway.
