Hominy sits 20 miles northwest of Tulsa in Oklahoma's rolling prairie country. Take Highway 20 west from Tulsa for a straight 25-minute drive through oil country and cattle ranches. Highway 99 connects north to Pawhuska and south toward I-44. The town serves as a gateway to Osage Nation territory and features the 1925 Osage Nation Museum building, one of America's oldest tribal museums.
