Homer is a small Nebraska town of 446 people located 15 miles south of Sioux City, Iowa via Highway 75. The community sits on scenic bluffs in the Loess Hills, offering views across the Missouri River valley. It's about 90 miles north of Omaha and 30 minutes from Sioux Gateway Airport. Homer's unique location on the rare Loess Hills formations makes it one of only two places worldwide where these wind-deposited soils exist.
