Homedale is a farming town of about 3,000 people in southwestern Idaho, 45 miles from Boise along the Snake River. Take I-84 west to Caldwell, then Highway 19 south through Marsing to reach it. The area is known for onion fields and cattle ranches, with over 300 sunny days a year. The vintage neon sign at Owyhee Lanes bowling alley has been a local landmark since 1963.
