Hollis is a small county seat in southwestern Oklahoma, about 25 miles west of Altus along US Highway 62. The town sits in rolling wheat country near the Texas border, connected by State Highway 5 running north-south and US-62 east-west. Most visitors come through Altus or from Texas Panhandle communities. The 1929 Harmon County Courthouse downtown features distinctive red brick and limestone architecture.
