Holliday is a small farming town about 15 miles northwest of Wichita Falls via Highway 25. Most visitors drive up from Wichita Falls or take US 287 from the Dallas area. The community of 1,600 sits among wheat fields and cattle ranches in the Texas plains. The annual Fun Day Festival in June features a parade that's been running for over 40 years.
