Holladay is a suburban community 12 miles southeast of Salt Lake City, positioned against the Wasatch Mountain foothills. Access via I-215 exits at 4500 South or 6200 South, about 20 minutes from downtown. State Route 190 connects to Big Cottonwood Canyon ski resorts, while Highland Drive and 4500 South handle local traffic. The city sits at 4,500 feet elevation with a semi-arid climate. Salt Lake City International Airport is 25 miles northwest. Notable feature: the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center houses one of the valley's few outdoor 50-meter pools.
