Holden is a farming community in western Missouri, about 50 miles southeast of Kansas City via Highway 58 and Interstate 49. The town of 2,000 sits in Johnson County's rolling agricultural landscape. Most visitors arrive on Highway 58 from I-49 near Harrisonville, while Highway 131 provides north-south access. The restored 1890s railroad depot downtown now serves as the community center and museum.
