Hoffman is a small Sandhills town in Richmond County where Highways 177 and 211 intersect. Most visitors arrive via Highway 211 from Pinehurst (15 miles east) or connect through Aberdeen to reach I-95 or the Triangle region. The town of 800 sits near Mackall Army Air Field, a former WWII training facility now used for general aviation.
