Hodges is a tiny South Carolina community of under 200 people in Greenwood County's rural hills. Access is mainly via Highway 178 from Greenwood, about 15 miles southeast, or through local roads connecting to Highway 25. Most visitors are locals making short trips within the county, though long-distance travelers arrive via Interstate 26 or 85. The town's century-old general store still operates as the unofficial community hub.
