Hixton is a small Wisconsin village of 422 people in Jackson County's rolling farm country. It sits right on Highway 95, about 12 miles from Black River Falls and easily reached from I-94 at Exit 116. The area's hills and valleys are part of the Driftless region that escaped glacial flattening. The restored 1901 railroad depot downtown showcases the community's heritage as a former lumber shipping hub.
