Hindsboro is a small farming community in east-central Illinois, about 15 miles southwest of Champaign. Take I-57 to Exit 229, then follow Route 133 west to reach this Douglas County town of 368 people. The area's flat prairie landscape is dominated by corn and soybean fields. A restored 1920s grain elevator still operates during harvest season.
