Hillside Acres is a tiny Webb County community of six people, located 15 miles northeast of Laredo off I-35. Most visitors arrive via the San Antonio-Laredo corridor on Interstate 35, then take local roads east. The area sits in classic South Texas brush country with mesquite and prickly pear. Despite having only six residents, it operates its own post office.
