Hillsboro is a tiny Eastern Shore community of 127 people in Caroline County, reached via Route 404 about 8 miles east of Denton. The main route connects to US 50 near Easton for longer trips to Annapolis or DC. Easton Airport sits 15 miles southeast for regional flights. The town sits along Tuckahoe Creek, which meanders through the surrounding farmland toward the Choptank River.
