Hillsboro is a small county seat in central Illinois, about an hour south of Springfield on I-55. Take Exit 63 to Route 16 for downtown access, or use Route 185 for local connections to Litchfield and Greenville. The 1870 courthouse with its mansard roof and clock tower anchors the historic town square.
