Hillrose is a tiny farming town of 285 people in northeastern Colorado's Morgan County. Located right on US Highway 34, it's about 25 miles west of Sterling and 60 miles east of Greeley. The original grain elevator still stands by the railroad tracks, marking this community's agricultural roots since the early 1900s.
