Hillburn is a small mountain community in Rockland County, just off Route 17 near the New Jersey border. About 35 miles from NYC via the Palisades Parkway, it's popular with commuters using the NJ Transit rail line. The village sits in the scenic Ramapo Mountains near Harriman State Park. The historic train station still provides direct service to Penn Station in Manhattan.
