Highlandville is a small Missouri Ozarks community of 950 people, about 20 miles northeast of Springfield via Highway 14. The main routes are Highway 14 east from Springfield through Nixa, and Highway 125 connecting from I-44 near Strafford. These state highways intersect in town and handle most traffic through the rolling, wooded terrain. The city displays an old Missouri Pacific Railroad caboose in its municipal park.
