Higginsport is a tiny Ohio River town in Brown County, reached via scenic Route 52 about 50 miles east of Cincinnati. The winding river road passes through rolling hills before dropping into this historic settlement of fewer than 300 residents. You can still see the old ferry landing where boats once carried passengers and cargo across to Kentucky.
