Higbee is a small farming town of 500 people in north-central Missouri's Randolph County. Highway 24 runs right through town, connecting west to Moberly (15 miles) and east toward Hannibal. Most trips are short local runs, though I-70 access via Moberly opens up longer routes to Columbia and Kansas City. The town's grain elevator towers over the surrounding farmland and serves as a landmark visible for miles.
