Hickman is a small Mississippi River town in Kentucky's southwest corner, accessible via US 51 north from Tennessee or east from Missouri on Route 94. The town sits on bluffs overlooking the river in Central Time Zone, unlike most of Kentucky. Popular routes include day trips from Murray (45 miles) and longer drives from Nashville or Memphis. The historic cable ferry to Missouri still operates from the original landing.
