Hewitt is a small farming town in central Wisconsin's Wood County, connected by Highway 97 running north-south and Highway 73 east-west. Most visitors access the area via Highway 10 or Interstate 39 through nearby Marshfield, which also has the regional airport 15 miles south. The town preserves its original 1890s railroad depot as a community center.
