Hershey is a small farming town in western Nebraska, 15 miles west of North Platte along US Highway 30. The historic Lincoln Highway runs right through main street, connecting travelers between Colorado and Iowa. Local traffic mainly heads east to North Platte for services, while the surrounding irrigated farmland creates those perfect green circles visible for miles. The town's water tower features a giant Hershey's Kiss logo, despite being named after a railroad official rather than the chocolate company.
