Hendricks is a small farming town of 500 people in far southwestern Minnesota, eight miles from South Dakota. Highway 75 runs north-south through town, connecting to Canby and continuing into South Dakota, while Highway 23 heads east to Marshall and west toward Pipestone. The town sits in prime agricultural country with endless grain fields stretching to the horizon. The water tower features a distinctive agricultural mural that's visible for miles across the flat prairie landscape.
