Henderson is a tiny farming town in southwestern Iowa, about 30 miles north of Omaha via Interstate 29. Take Exit 35 and head east on County Road L55 for three miles to reach the main street. Most traffic comes from Council Bluffs, just 15 miles away, or connects through State Highway 34. The town's claim to fame is its preserved 1885 one-room schoolhouse that once served the surrounding farm families.
