Helena is a small farming town in northern Oklahoma, about 30 miles northwest of Enid via Highway 64. The community of 1,500 sits along the Salt Fork Arkansas River in agricultural Alfalfa County. Highway 8 runs north-south through town toward Cherokee and Jet. The massive grain elevator complex dominates the skyline and serves as a prairie landmark visible for miles.
