Hayward is a small Northwoods city in northwestern Wisconsin that serves as a hub for the region's lakes and forests. Highway 63 runs north-south through town, connecting to I-94 about 90 miles south near Eau Claire, while Highway 27 provides another north-south route and Highway 77 heads west to Minnesota. The National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame features a massive fiberglass muskie you can actually climb inside.
