Hayti is a small farming town in Missouri's Bootheel, accessible via I-55 Exit 19. The community of 2,100 sits amid cotton and soybean fields about 150 miles south of St. Louis and 60 miles from Memphis. Highway 84 connects to Caruthersville and Portageville, while Highway 412 heads into Tennessee. The town was named after Haiti in honor of that nation's successful revolution.
