Haverhill is a small city in central Palm Beach County, about 15 miles west of West Palm Beach and 20 miles from Palm Beach International Airport. State Road 80 provides the main east-west access, connecting directly to I-95 near the coast, while Haverhill Road runs north-south through town. The city was named after Haverhill, Massachusetts, by early settlers who brought New England town planning traditions to the Florida frontier.
