Havana is a small North Florida city about 20 miles northeast of Tallahassee via US Highway 27. The rolling, oak-covered terrain feels more like Georgia than typical Florida, with cooler winters and historic tobacco farming roots. Most visitors arrive on US 27 from Tallahassee or take SR 12 from Quincy. The restored 1912 courthouse downtown now houses antique shops and anchors the annual Shade Tobacco Festival.
