Harvey is a farming town in central North Dakota where Highway 3 runs straight through the middle. It's about 45 miles south of Minot and 90 miles from Interstate 94 near Bismarck. The area grows wheat and sunflowers, with grain elevators dominating the small downtown. The annual Sunflower Festival in July celebrates when the surrounding fields turn bright yellow.
