Hartleton is a tiny farming community in Union County where Route 45 crosses Penns Creek. Most traffic comes from nearby agricultural areas via local roads connecting to neighboring villages. The nearest highway access is US Route 15 through Lewisburg, about 20 minutes east. A concrete arch bridge from the 1920s still carries Route 45 over Penns Creek right through town.
