Hartland is a small farming town of about 400 people in south-central Minnesota's Freeborn County. Highway 13 runs right through town, connecting south to Interstate 35 near Albert Lea (15 miles) for Twin Cities or Iowa access. Most local trips use county roads to nearby farm communities.
