Harriman is a small Hudson Valley village in Orange County, about 45 miles from Manhattan via I-87. Route 32 runs through town, connecting to nearby Monroe and Central Valley, while Route 17 provides access to western New York. The village sits adjacent to massive Harriman State Park, named for railroad baron Edward Henry Harriman whose former estate became part of the 47,000-acre preserve.
