Hard Rock is a tiny desert community of 106 people in northeastern Arizona's Navajo County. Reach it via US Highway 160, the main east-west route through the area. From Flagstaff, drive US-89 north to US-160 east for about 140 miles. The nearest town is Kayenta, 25 miles west. Unlike most of Arizona, Hard Rock follows Mountain Time with daylight saving since it's in the Navajo Nation.
