Harbor Beach is a small lakeside town on Michigan's Lake Huron coast, about 90 miles northeast of Detroit. The main route from Detroit takes I-94 to I-69 to M-53 north, then M-25 along the shore. From Flint, it's a straight shot north on M-53. The town sits where M-25 meets M-142, serving as Huron County's water gateway. Its massive concrete breakwater stretches nearly a mile into the lake, creating one of the Great Lakes' largest man-made harbors.
