Harbine is a tiny farming community of 65 people in southeastern Nebraska's Jefferson County. US Highway 136 runs right through town, connecting it to Beatrice (25 miles east) and Fairbury (15 miles west). The massive grain elevator dominates the skyline and can be spotted from miles away across the prairie.
