Hansboro is a tiny farming community of five people in north-central North Dakota, 15 miles from Canada. Take Highway 5 west from US 281, or drive north from Bottineau on Highway 281 then west on Highway 5. The nearest EV charging is in Bottineau, 25 miles south. Despite its size, Hansboro maintains its own post office, operating from what may be North Dakota's smallest postal facility since 1905.
