Hanover is a farming community of 1,200 people about 30 miles east of Columbus in Licking County. Take I-70 east to Route 79 north, then follow local roads to reach town via State Route 16, the main drag that connects to Newark 12 miles west. The town sits amid Ohio's corn and soybean country and is home to one of the state's few working one-room schoolhouses from the early 1900s.
