Hannaford is a farming town of 77 people in central North Dakota, about an hour northwest of Fargo via I-94 and County Road 7. The town sits in Griggs County's wheat and soybean country, where continental weather brings harsh winters and warm summers. Highway 200 provides the main east-west connection through nearby Cooperstown. The massive grain elevator holds over 2 million bushels and towers above the prairie landscape.
