Hammondsport is a tiny Finger Lakes village of 500 people at the southern end of Keuka Lake, surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills. Most visitors take Route 54 north from I-390 near Bath or follow it south along the lake from Penn Yan. The Glenn H. Curtiss Museum showcases vintage aircraft, including the 1908 June Bug that made America's first public flight.
