Hamlin is a small agricultural town of about 2,000 people in West Texas, 30 miles north of Abilene via US Highway 83. The town sits in cotton country with rolling plains stretching in all directions. Most visitors arrive from Abilene or use Interstate 20 connections through Anson. The restored 1920s Hamlin Memorial Park features an original Civilian Conservation Corps stone pavilion.
