Hamler is a small farming town in northwestern Ohio's Henry County, surrounded by flat agricultural land. State Route 18 runs through the center, connecting to US Route 24 from Toledo (30 miles) and State Route 65 from Lima (45 miles). Most traffic consists of local trips to nearby Deshler and Napoleon, with long-distance visitors accessing the area via Interstate 75. The 1896 Hamler Opera House on Main Street recalls the town's railroad-era prosperity.
