Hamilton is a small Kansas farming town of 158 people in Greenwood County, accessible via US Highway 54. The main route runs east-west, connecting to Eureka (15 miles) and continuing toward central Kansas. For longer trips, drivers head north about 40 miles to reach Interstate 35 near Emporia for access to Kansas City and Wichita. The town sits along the former Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway route, where old grain elevators still mark its agricultural heritage.
