Halliday is a small farming town in western North Dakota, about 40 miles southwest of Minot via US Highway 200 and State Highway 22. The town sits in classic prairie country where wheat fields extend to the horizon. Most visitors arrive from Minot or connect through Dickinson to reach Interstate 94. The grain elevator towers over the surrounding farmland, visible for miles across the flat terrain.
